OmFest

Every year in June, OmFest celebrates World Refugee Day in Bucharest. Started back in 2018, the festival is dedicated to multiculturalism and the power, the courage and the perseverance of over 65 milion people which have a refugee status throughout the world.

From the very first edition, Musket was one of the partners. Every year was different, with new challenges and more services to provide, from PR to event organising. We love this project because it always finds new ways of making the voices of refugees matter – so, we’re looking forward to the next edition!

PR and Press Releases

Our team has a long lasting relationship with the media. It was only natural for our first collaboration with OmFest to go that route and we put all our contacts and our know-how to work. Through the main news agency in Romania, Agerpres, to one of the most relevant news TV stations, Digi24 and many other media outlets, we were able to reach a wide audience.

Working with products that are on a very clear niche is always challenging when you have to convince the media to take a look at your press release. And more still, to publish it or cover it in their news programme. But we never say no to difficult projects. We love to prove that nothing is impossible.

Event Organising

We’ve organised events before, but OmFest was different from the very first edition. Multiple venues, public and private institutions to partner with, a budget to raise and a team to lead. Many volunteers, friends of the festival, people willing to get involved in celebrating World Refugee Day in Bucharest.

The first discussions on the subject and regarding the funds we rely on start around 6-8 months before the actual event. Depending on the main topic we start booking the bands that will play, the places where it will all happen, as well as the other administrative aspects.
