Autism Romania

Autism Romania is an NGO that helps adults and children with autism, as well as their parents, find support and a place in their communities.

After years of dealing with government institutions and liaising with families to assist them in getting the care they needed, Autism Romania decided to set up a website that would function as a directory of resources to speed up the process of making the match between the parties.

We were honoured to be part of the project.

Read below to see what we did for Autism Romania.

A helping hand

The directory functions as a listing of different services, specialists, doctors, care centers and more. Users are able to easily filter through listings to find what they need for their loved ones and to get in touch with the service providers directly

Service providers are able to register on the directory through a form that we set up which asks for their credentials, diplomas, what accessibility features their clinics offer and more. Each service provider is vetted manually by Autism Romania to make sure that only the best and most relevant applicants make it online.

As a further step in helping families from vulnerable backgrounds, Autism Romania also provides a path through Romanian government bureaucracy by storing official form templates for different institutions. This way families of people with autism have a helping hand in caring for their loved ones.
